Enabling Modern Work – Tertiary Education Commission | Digital Capability Uplift

Overview:

This project was all about making life easier for people at work—introducing better tools, smarter systems, and a digital setup that supported the way TEC teams wanted to work. It was the kind of behind-the-scenes work that makes a real difference.

The Challenge:

TEC needed to modernise how staff collaborated—but without disrupting the flow of business-as-usual. That meant careful rollouts, good governance, and listening to what people needed from their tech tools.

Approach Taken:

As Project Coordinator, I worked across multiple workstreams: everything from piloting Microsoft Teams to coordinating an enterprise video conferencing setup. I helped stand up a governance group to keep the strategy clear and aligned, and I made sure people felt supported throughout the change.

Outcome:

The rollout went smoothly, and TEC now has a stronger digital foundation for the future. What stood out most for me was the sense of progress—watching teams grow more confident in the tools at their fingertips.
